Keith works with co-owner Rene Pereux in setting Daystar’s strategy and vision. Along with the senior management team, Keith determines corporate direction and is constantly finding ways to set ourselves apart from the competition.
True to our belief that an MGA should be run by actively-producing advisors, Keith also has a successful estate planning practice of his own. In addition to running Daystar’s operations, Keith is also President and Principal Founder of Financial Confidence Advisors Inc.. He looked to his own practice while building Daystar, ensuring we would provide the level of service he would want from an MGA. It was with this value in mind that he and Rene hand-picked your Daystar team.
Since entering the financial planning industry in 1981, he has achieved significant accomplishments both as a manger and an advisor. He’s a five-time recipient of Prudential Insurance Company of America’s ‘Leading Manager in Canada’ award and was named Sun Life Financial’s “Top Manager in Canada” in 1999.
With over 25 years of financial planning experience under his belt, Keith has acquired an acute understanding of the needs of today’s advisor. This knowledge will be instrumental in achieving our goal to become the #1 MGA in Canada.
Keith has achieved Court of Table, an honor drawn from members of the International Million Dollar Round Table organization (MDRT) The Court of the Table designation denotes exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct. Well respected by his peers, he has served on the advisory boards for numerous insurance companies and industry associations. He also carries the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations.
